Meet Your Teacher: Xylo Aria

MPW's CEO Xylo Aria built MPW after reflecting on her own experiences as a female artist. She was determined to create a platform she wished existed for her when she started, to benefit other women taking their music career into their own hands.

What You'll Need to Participate in Track Builder

You don't need any previous knowledge to attend this program, however to get the most from the program we would recommend that you have:

A laptop that is capable of producing
A pair of headphones
Ableton (Discount available, please see FAQs for details)
5 to 6 hours per week to dedicate to the course

We understand that you might have a few questions, so hopefully these have been answered below!

I’m a complete beginner—will I be able to keep up?

Track Builder is designed specifically for those in their complete beginner to early intermediate levels. We break everything down into simple steps, and you’ll have support every week! We do recommend 5-6 hours a week for the program to ensure that you have enough time to digest the content and put it into practice.

Do I need to have Ableton Live to do this course?

We’ll be teaching using Ableton Live 12 Suite, and we would highly recommend that you get the same to be able to get the most from the Program. If you have Ableton Live 12 Standard or Live 11, Suite or Standard, these will also be suitable. If you’re planning to buy Ableton, our Premium Package includes 40% off Ableton Live to help you get started!

How much time should I dedicate to the program?

We would recommend 5 to 6 hours per week for this program so that you have time to go through the content and also put it into practice, especially if you're a beginner.

What equipment/skills do I need to attend?

You don't need any previous experience in production to attend the program. Equipment wise, you just need a computer, headphones, and Ableton Live! If you'd like to record vocals than a microphone and audio interface would be great to have but is not essential for this course.

Is this a live course or self-paced?

It’s a hybrid! The core modules are pre-recorded so you can learn at your own pace, but you’ll also get access to live classes, weekly homework, a Discord community, and a one to one feedback session at the end with our team.

What if I can’t make one of the three live sessions?

No worries at all! All three of the live classes will be recorded and shared with you afterward, so you can catch up at your own pace.

Can I do this from anywhere?

Yep! All aspects of this course are online, so you can access the content and the live courses right from your home.

Do I get lifetime access to the content?

Yes! You’ll keep access to all the core materials and our Intro to Production course forever—even after the 7 weeks are up.
