ABOUT YOUR TEACHER

LÂLKA

LÂLKA is an electronic music producer, vocalist, songwriter, DJ and performer.

After years of classical training in piano, violin and music theory, LÂLKA taught herself music production to bring her own musical vision to life. Combining her knowledge of classical music and music theory with her brazen take on pop experimentalism, her music has been described as “hyperpop brilliance” (NME), with “the world [finally] catching up with the genius she’s been throwing down” (Tommy Faith, triple j). As an artist, she has “time and time again proven her place in the upper echelon of Australia’s underground pop scene” (Pilerats).

As a pop songwriter, LÂLKA has written for artists like Donatachi, Chores and Feels. Her music has received strong support from Australia’s national youth broadcaster triple j, BBC6 and used for sync opportunities.
