About Music Production for Women (MPW):
Music Production for Women (MPW) is a global learning platform and community empowering women and gender-diverse creatives to confidently step into the world of music production. Through accessible education, an inclusive environment, and a growing international presence, MPW is shifting the narrative of who belongs in music tech.
We’ve taught over 8,000 students from 120+ countries, worked with leading partners like Ableton, Abbey Road Studios, Focusrite, and DistroKid, and continue to run events and courses that open doors to creativity and career development.
We’re now looking for a passionate, music tech-savvy and organised individual to help us scale our impact and support our growing student community.
Role Overview:
As our Operations & Partnerships Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role across student support, educational content delivery, partnerships, and creative production. This role is ideal for a highly organised, personable multitasker with a background in music production and a passion for gender equity in music.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
Support students with their learning by addressing technical queries
Facilitate monthly group mentoring sessions and occasional weekly classes
Provide a welcoming, encouraging presence for students
Student Support
Serve as the first point of contact for production queries from students via email, phone, or chat.
Provide timely and accurate responses to student enquiries, ensuring a positive experience.
Assist with the onboarding process for new students, including course enrolment and resource distribution.
Content Creation & Communication
Create videos for production-related content for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels
Write engaging and informative blog articles on music production topics
Sponsorships, Partnerships & Grants
Develop and nurture ongoing sponsor relationships
Contributing to MPW’s growth through building relationships with new potential partners
Contribute to the writing and submission of grants for MPW's programs
Event & Project Management
Help manage and deliver key MPW projects, including our global events
Liaise with venues, partners and students to ensure smooth event delivery
About You:
Bachelors/Diploma, or equivalent industry experience, in audio/music production
Experience creating content related to music production (written or video)
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills with the ability to work constructively and efficiently within a remote team
Friendly, approachable, and confident engaging with students and industry partners
Passionate about improving gender equity and inclusion in music
A collaborative team player who thrives in a small, purpose-driven team
Strong writing skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and engagingly
Non-Essential but preferable skills:
Experience with grant writing or educational curriculum creation
Hands-on experience with Ableton Live and Logic Pro
Previous facilitation or teaching experience
