Music Production for Women (MPW) is a global learning platform and community empowering women and gender-diverse creatives to confidently step into the world of music production. Through accessible education, an inclusive environment, and a growing international presence, MPW is shifting the narrative of who belongs in music tech.
We’ve taught over 8,000 students from 120+ countries, worked with leading partners like Ableton, Abbey Road Studios, Focusrite, and DistroKid, and continue to run events and courses that open doors to creativity and career development.
We are looking for a creative and organised Social Media Coordinator to help us grow our online presence and deepen engagement with our global community of women and gender-diverse music producers.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for bringing MPW’s mission to life across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, and Stories, creating content that inspires, educates, and connects. You’ll work closely with our team to plan campaigns, schedule consistent posts, respond to our audience, and experiment with new formats to expand our reach.
You will be working in a small but hard-working, and impact-driven team who are working together to not only grow MPW and its impact, but to also grow themselves. As we are a small team, in addition to our own areas of responsibility, at times we need to help each other to provide assistance in other people's areas, especially during the period around our special events and international tours. The ability to be a flexible team player is therefore vital for this role.
At MPW, we are consistently looking to improve what we do, and therefore are always continuing to update our offerings and processes. You will always be supported through these changes, however the environment you will be working in will therefore be very fast-paced with priorities shifting from non-urgent to essential tasks as required.
If you're someone who understands social media culture, the music space, the music production environment, and who feels excited about supporting emerging producers through powerful storytelling in a fast paced, impact driven environment, we want to hear from you!

"I'm so glad that these initiatives are being taken keeping women in mind. I'm trying to learn production to understand the mechanics of production better and this gives me a kick start to my learning process. Thanks again for all the effort!"

"I keep returning to MPW, Xylo is clear, concise, and encouraging. You are shown quick routes to acheiving sound and options for exploration. I've been scared of music production for so long, MPW holds your hand. Can't recommend enough."
